More than 600 people attended the two-day forum. They included business people, government officials, academics and university students. The distinguished guest of honour and keynote speaker for the first-day forum was Mr. Piyaburt Cholvijarn, Vice Minister of Education, Thailand. The second-day forum's keynote speaker was Mr. Ong Keng Yong, Secretary-General of ASEAN. They both kindly accepted to make keynote speeches on the theme for the 6th HYLI "Charting a New Course for Asia" to show their support for the purpose of this program.
