More than 600 people attended the two-day forum. They included business people, government officials, academics and university students. The distinguished guest of honor and keynote speaker for the first-day forum was Mr David Lim Tik En, Acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, Singapore. The second-day forum's keynote speaker was Mom Ratchawong Sukhumbhand Paribatra, a Member of Parliament from Thailand. They both kindly accepted to make keynote speeches on the theme for the 5th HYLI "Asia's Roadmap : Forging Regional Cohesion for Global Advancement" to show their support for the purpose of this program.
